STONE ENTERTAINMENT, which produces the Austin Television Series Festival, is a multi-task organization. We have several divisions that include:

STONE PRODUCTIONS; started in 1990 in Hollywood, California, moving to Austin, Texas in 1995; produces TV pilots for writers, commercials, PSAs, and shorts. 

STONE ENTERTAINMENT; founded in 1997, a producer representative agency that not only helps newcomers to the TV industry prepare their pilots and submission packages but also has an entertainment attorney as a partner in the company.  Austin Television Series Festival was conceived because there were so many creative people with great ideas and pilots for television shows that needed a venue to get their ideas to the next step:  to be shown and sold. 

STONE VIDEO PRODUCTS; manufactures camera cranes and steady camera devices for today's smaller, lightweight cameras; for those on a limited budget.

STONE VIDEO PUBLICATIONS; creates and distributes a series of booklets on all aspects of television production.

STONE ENTERTAINMENT is run by Neil Stone. He has worked in the movie and television industry since 1972 with credits for over 75 TV shows and movies. Neil Stone has worked in Hollywood, California and New York City (17 years at ABC Network in Los Angeles) and other locations around the United States and in Europe. Stone most recently taught film and TV courses at the local college, helping some of his students actually acquire employment in the TV industry and helping others develop their own TV shows. He has authored several books about TV production, including the recently published "How To Produce A Quality Television Show On A Practically Zero Budget".
